UK TORNADO DAMAGE, FARNBOROUGH, HANTS. 24th SEPT 2007  

 

These images show some of the damage caused by the T2 rated Tornado with wind speeds possibly between 74-93 mph that hit the Cove area of town at approx 7.30 am.

This was the only confirmed tornado that struck the Country that day, although there were a total of 12 reports throughout the UK. 

There was significant structural damage with some roofs destroyed and chimneys damaged as well as a large tree being ripped from the ground and a bus shelter destroyed. Fortunately there were no serious injuries reported.
