These images show the destructive force that hail can cause to a vehicle that has been pulverized by stones with a diameter of 2 inches and greater. The hail that day was golf ball to baseball sized which caused fellow chasers windscreens to be shattered and their vehicles to be seriously damaged.
In one instance hail came straight through the side window of the van as shown in the first two images. See it happen here (video footage)
