SEMINOLE, TEXAS,  MAY 6th  2008

We started the day in Lubbock TX, and knew we would not have far to travel to be in position for the storms that would hopefully fire up today.

The Storm Prediction Centre had issued a tornado watch box around the Seminole area just to our south. The storms were not well organised but had potential and were expected to improve , however they split into multi cell clusters and the chance of them producing a tornado began to decrease.

We began to witness some hail of around 1.5 inches but the tornado risk began to die along with the storm, so we decided to head back to Lubbock for the night.
