Today we headed from Amarillo Texas into New Mexico to intercept a storm that was due to fire up there just north of the town of Roswell. The storm had some great structure which showed signs of rotation but did not produce a tornado, although it did produce hail up to baseball size that we noticed had damaged the windscreens of vehicles that were fleeing the storm in our direction.
